Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED - Red Cross

Class Description: The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED class will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. This class meets OSHA/workplace requirements and meets the CPR requirement for the California Teaching Credential.

Class Format: This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. Online course access will be in the confirmation email after registration is complete.

Duration: Up to 3 hrs 30 min online + Up to 2 hrs 15 min class session

Certification: 2 year American Red Cross digital certificate

Note: This class is not for Healthcare Providers or Medical/Nursing/EMT students. Please sign up for a BLS class if you are in the medical field.

Class Description: This American Red Cross Adult CPR & AED certification class will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults.

Note: This course does NOT include first aid. Please sign up for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED if you need first aid.

Class Format: This is a blended learning course with an online course and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. Online course access will be in the confirmation email after registration is complete.

Duration: Up to 1 hr 30 min online + Up to 1 hr 10 min class session

Certification: 2 year American Red Cross certificate

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED - American Heart Association

 

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED

Course Description: Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED teaches participants how to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for all ages. This class meets OSHA/workplace requirements and meets the CPR requirement for the California Teaching Credential.

Blended Learning: Up to 3 hrs online + Up to 2 hr 15 min in-class skills session

Online Course: Prior to the in-class skills session, all participants must complete the online course thru the AHA eLearning website for $23.00 (sold separately). 

Certification Issued: 2 year American Heart Association eCard

Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED - American Heart Association (Childcare)

 

Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED with Adult CPR/AED and Asthma care

This class meets the requirements for the CPR and First Aid portion of California Title 22 and EMSA for Childcare Providers and teaches:

  • Adult, Child and Infant CPR
  • AED
  • Pediatric First Aid
  • Asthma Care

Blended Learning
Up to 5 hrs online + Up to 3 hrs in-class skills session

Online Course
Prior to the in-class skills session, all participants must complete the Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED online course (Pediatric Total Path) thru the AHA eLearning website for $23 (sold separately).

BLS Renewal - American Heart Association

 

BLS Provider Renewal 

Course Description: The American Heart Association BLS Renewal course is an Instructor-led class for AHA BLS Providers needing to renew their BLS certification. There is no online prework required.

*Please note: BLS Provider Renewal course is entirely in-person. There is no required online pre-course work for this training.

Renewal Policy: Only those with a current (NOT EXPIRED) AHA BLS Provider certificate may participate in the renewal. If your certificate has expired please enroll in the BLS Provider course instead.  

Certification: 2 year American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard
